But after spending hours responding to commenters, calmly responding to their attacks with reason and civility – and at times some snarky humor – I realized something I hadn’t before:
Nearly all the respondents saw a future where there are so few jobs, competing enterprises and viable capitalist markets, consumerism dwindles as no one can buy anything. Productivity costs due to automation drop precipitously and, with automation destroying wage-earning opportunities, capitalism collapses into some future systemic state.
I think those who have this fear are really concerned about are the Constitution’s amendments. Never the less, let’s review the US Constitution, article by article, and amendment by amendment to see how, or if, Copiosis has an effect on them.
