Happy New Year from Copiosis!
It’s a wonderful time to be alive, isn’t it? Last year ended with so much happening, heads are probably reeling more from the last 12 months than from the revelry that ushered in the new year.
Depending on where your head’s at, you may be breathing a sigh of relief that 2020 is over. You also may be looking at 2021 as a new start. I’m seeing it as a continuation.
I expect more extraordinary things in 2021. This year brings so much opportunity, with so many wonderful things happening, including people seeing our current system as it is: not worth keeping.
Of course, many disagree. Many still think our current way of life is worth keeping. So much so, they are willing to die for it! What incredible commitment!
Copiosis offers an incredible future
The problem for those folks is, change is continuing, and forces much larger than human stubbornness are moving humanity in the direction of more and better. To me, “more and better” is Copiosis.
Copiosis offers the best future for humanity, a stable economic reality, far safer communities, true freedom for everyone, young and old, rich and poor. It also makes everyone far richer than they are today, while decoupling power from wealth. For it is power wealth accumulates that creates so many of our persistent problems.
I’m glad more people than ever appreciate what Copiosis offers. The best evidence of what it offers is this three-minute exchange between me, Copiosis CTO Gheric Speiginer, and hosts of the podcast Upgrading society:
These guys see it, as do thousands of others: Copiosis is the castle on the hill so many are shooting for with their own ideas. We have the only fully-baked solution though, and I’m deeply appreciative of everyone who contributed to what Copiosis is today.
Humanity is at a great turning point. So is Copiosis. This year brings new initiatives we’re focusing on through the next five years that will change what we’re doing significantly, and increase our implementation plan results. You can watch the full roadmap presentation I gave about our plans here:
To be honest, what we have planned ahead gives me the heebie-jeebies. It’s a huge stretch for me and the organization. And yet, I’m excited about what’s coming.
The long view is the only view
I like reading science fiction. In nearly all stories I’ve read, humanity colonized the heavens…and brought with them all the problems money, government and markets create.
I’m eager about the turning point 2021 is a part of because those three things are coming to an end. They are coming to an end in perfect timing…just as humanity prepares to reach the stars in a meaningful way.
Virgin Galactic, Blue Origin, SpaceX and, probably others, all are pushing this frontier. Before succeeding, before we have a single colony on another planet…or even the moon…money, markets and government must become a thing of the past so that humanity can truly, freely, explore the stars.
I’m eager to see a space-faring humanity unencumbered by money, debt, markets and government. A humanity that spreads to distant galaxies, enjoying its innate freedoms and the abundant cosmos without working for basic necessities, affordability, or problems inherent in human insecurity born of flawed beliefs about reality.
The great news is, my eagerness is being met with emerging results, results I’m gladdened to see. The long view has a new future in store for humanity. Copiosis is part of that future.
Some activists encourage people and organizations to come together, join forces and work for a common outcome. I don’t agree with needing everyone to join forces or come to agreement on a common purpose. Diversity is the nature of nature. It is nature’s strength, and it is humanity’s strength.
The more uncommon, disparate ideas out there, the better opportunity to realize the future now possible. To me, it’s key all initiatives advocating better futures continue on their own trajectories so that we have many distinct and unique options. That diversity allows for discovery levels not possible when everyone works together.
Finally, as much as some think I’m crazy for saying the following, I remain steadfast on this opinion: There is all the time in the world to achieve what we’re after. We don’t have to rush because of climate change. There’s plenty of time because everything happens, and is happening, in perfect timing.
In my opinion, there’s no better way to live one’s life than living it to create a future that will create the freer future humanity is reaching for. Copiosis is the path to that future.
Whether you believe that or not, I wish you a Happy New Year!
