when people counter Copiosis by saying “who will do the jobs no one wants to do (even though people are doing them now)” what they are really saying is “those people doing the work that makes my life comfortable better keep doing it because I don't want my life to change. I don’t care how much better off my life may become. And I don't care how shitty that job their doing is. They have to keep doing it.”
Nearly all the respondents saw a future where there are so few jobs, competing enterprises and viable capitalist markets, consumerism dwindles as no one can buy anything. Productivity costs due to automation drop precipitously and, with automation destroying wage-earning opportunities, capitalism collapses into some future systemic state.
Bring on the love. And don’t mind the hate. It’s all good.
