We’re proud of our latest achievement

Screen Shot 2017-06-24 at 13.28.57 PMOur latest and newest entry-level explainer about Copiosis is getting a lot of attention. This video was the work of a small group of people, supported by another small group of people, and represents the international interest in our work.

Thanks to the many patrons who made this animated explainer video possible. Thanks too for the international team who helped produce it. Literally the work of people from all over the world are represented in this video.

What’s interesting is how people are responding to it. Of the thousands of people who have seen it, as you can guess, there are all kinds of opinions about it. Some of those opinions are negative – of course – and they can be discouraging to Copiosis believers.

Remember: while this work is important, because of its scope, it demands you find ways to become more than who you are. One of the many ways it does that is by challenging you to not be daunted by how people respond to a work you deeply resonate with.

Often, people are embolden by a great idea, start to support it, but then crumble in the face of the inevitable friction faced. The image of a rocket shooting through our atmosphere to reach space comes to mind. If it wasn’t engineered to weather the pressure and friction of escape velocity – or the friction of reentry even – we wouldn’t be able to reach the stars.

In the same way, if you’re wanting to make fundamental change happen, you have to re-engineer yourself to weather the inevitable resistance you’ll face as you choose to crawl out of the pot.

I’m reminded of a quote, misattributed to Nelson Mandela, but actually the creative expression of Marianne Williamson:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Some people can’t bear your own bright light, when their light burns so feebly. Don’t let their jealousy pull you back into the pot of mediocrity. The work we’re doing is important.
