There is no doubt that Trump, white supremacist groups such as neo-nazis and the “alt-left” represent a moral hazard to the United States. From a broader perspective, recent events are a great indicator that change is on its way. As humanity prepares for massive change people and groups indicating great anger are bell weathers.
All of 2020 acts as an indicator too. COVID, economic collapse, unemployment, businesses shuttering and unprecedented voter turnout – all in one year – indicate convergence upheavals unprecedented in modern times.
I find myself eager. Not for the destruction, but for the disruption, what comes after all this, and opportunity present in all that’s coming.
Massive change I referred to in this post’s previous version is upon us. Ten years ago it would have been unheard of, for example, for US southerners to call for removing cultural artifacts celebrating US Southern Heritage. Maybe even five years ago someone offering such a forecast would have been laughed at.
But that is exactly what is happening. Cities in other parts of the US – not only southern ones – also are removing relics of racism. That’s just unheard of. But here it is, happening.
Think about what happened after the Great Depression. It got worse first, plunging the world into a world war. But after that came unprecedented prosperity and a boom in many measures.
This time, if things go my way, prosperity following this current disruptive trend will offer far more prosperity than what we’ve seen previously.
There is no way around it: change isn’t coming. It has arrived. Along with that change comes more open minds. I suspect these minds are getting ready for what we offer at Copiosis.
I’ve written about how our economic system is preparing the way. I’ve written about how politics is preparing the way. In that preparation, old stories must fall. That’s what we are seeing play out in the United States right now.
Fundamental Change is a done deal. We are in gloriously unprecedented times. The world is becoming more and more ripe just in time to welcome Copiosis.
